“JUKEBOX FRIDAY NITE”
Heard every Friday evening, from 6 to 9, on Frostburg State University’s WFWM(91.9 FM locally, 96.3 FM at Deep Creek Lake and near Oakland; sorry, no Internet yet!), Kenny hosts a show of swing, dance band, and vocal recordings from the 1930s and 40s (and, sometimes, the 20s). Also includes a “Cowboy Song of the Week”, in homage to the Country & Western music around which he was raised. Kenny’s been at WFWM since 1998, and broadcasting the big bands since his college days, in 1978.

Kenny leads your group to singalong(with him, not Mitch!), with lyrics projected. Jokes(lame, of course!) and insights into the showbiz performers of the 30s and 40s. Each show is 45-60 minutes in length, and works well for all seniors groups(and anyone else), whether in a church or secular (Kenny asks that there be no alcohol) setting. Best of all, it’s FREE! He’s available, most evenings, all day Saturday, and just about any afternoon, from 3 pm onward.
